A helpful image for understanding “soul friendship” is of the two who journeyed together along the road to Emmaus and discovered Jesus walking along with them with “wonder and joy.” I began accompanying others in 2004, walking alongside others through times of joy or grief, transition or questioning, in dryness and ‘everyday life.’ A worshiper at heart – I am musician who also prays, a contemplative who also plays. Influenced by Anglican and Reformed spiritualities, I have also completed and offer the Ignatian Exercises (19th annotation). I am delighted to be the Instructor for the Spiritual Director Practicum at Tyndale University this year. Lifelong interests include gardening and being in, on or by any body of water. My husband and I have five married children and several wonderful grandchildren.
